Visit to St Augustine House Library

The Augustine House Library and Student Services Centre at Canterbury Christ Church University is the joint winner, with The McClay Library, Queen’s University Belfast of the prestigious 2013 SCONUL (Society of College, National and University Libraries) Design Award.

 CILIP in Kent have arranged a visit to the Augustine House Library in Canterbury. The Head of Library Services, Pete Ryan, will talk about how the library grew from an idea in to a reality and will share how it has changed since it was first opened. You can take a tour of the library with staff who work to use the building to its full potential.

 The visit is on Thursday 17th July 2014 at 14.30 and will last approx. 2 hours. Booking available soon.

 At the end of the visit there will be the opportunity to meet the members of the CILIP in Kent committee.
