Canterbury Circle Celebrates 50 Years of Reciprocal Borrowing

September 2015 saw 50 years of partnership among Canterbury’s libraries.

The Canterbury Circle of Libraries is an information-sharing network for the city’s librarians. The group of representatives from academic, public and health libraries in the district gathered at The King’s School’s Gateway Chamber on Tuesday 8th September to mark this special anniversary with an afternoon tea celebration. Current and original members were present and archival records and photos of the Circle, provided by the Beaney Institute, were available to view.
